All machines need ENERGY to move. There are a lot different types of energy.

FORCES

We use force to move objects or change shape.

We can pull, push and squeeze an object.

We have touch the object to move it.

 SQUEEZE

MAGNETS

A magnet uses force to move some metal objects without touching the objects.

Magnets have two parts called Poles; a positive pole and a negative pole. Also a South pole and a North pole.

Similar poles (two North poles or two South poles) repel.

Opposite/different poles (a North pole and a South pole) attract.
